What We Do
We produce high temperature biochar, wood vinegar and bio-oil through biomass gasification technology, using a wide range of feedstocks at large scales. Currently, we are producing:
- Woodchip Biochar from Gliricidia sepium trees in Sri Lanka
- Chicken Manure Biochar in Turkey
- Wood Vinegar / Pyrolytic oil

Our Projects
Our goal is to encourage the widespread adoption of biochar as a carbon negative product for agricultural applications (e.g. compost additive), industrial applications (e.g. building material, filtration), and beyond (e.g. animal feed). Our capability to produce biochar, wood vinegar, and bio-oil from a wide range of feedstocks and at large scales, allows us to tailor the application of our products based on the properties required.
Biochar for tree planting
We support rural communities in Sri Lanka draw carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere through the use of biochar in tree planting.
Bio-oil as a fossil fuel substitute
Bio-oil produced from chicken manure (while generating renewable energy and biochar) is used as a fossil fuel substitute in Turkey.
